Microsoft Corporation Solitaire is actually a collection of 5 solitaire games in one app. Play one or play them all; the games include:

Klondike

This is probably the most popular solitaire game. While it is easy to play, it is also very challenging. The game opens with 7 stacks of cards with the top one in each stack turned face up and 4 foundation piles just above them that are empty. Your job is to stack those foundation piles starting with the Ace of any particular suit and ending with the King. Each pile is dedicated to just one suit.

You can choose from a 3-draw pile or draw just 1 card at a time. Another fun thing about this game is that you can choose between a random game, where it is unknown if it is solvable or one that is guaranteed solvable.

Spider

Spider is another fun solitaire game, but it is unlike any kind of traditional solitaire you have ever played. Here, you can also choose from solvable or random games. However, just because it is guaranteed solvable doesn’t mean you will solve it.

This deck only has one suit and you stack the cards from King to Ace. Once you do this, they are automatically removed from the board. Keep making these runs until all the cards are eliminated and you have solved the game!

FreeCell

FreeCell resembles Klondike in a lot of ways in that you build runs, but with this game, you have 4 free cells that you can store cards in and retrieve them at any time as long as they are playable. As with most solitaire games, the goal is to remove all the cards from the board. Just like all the other solitaire games in this app, you can choose from different degrees of difficulty in a solvable game or choose a random game.

Pyramid

Pyramid is nothing like solitaire as you know it, but it is a lot of fun nonetheless. The deck opens up into a pyramid shape and the object is to remove all the cards. Instead of making runs, though, you are looking for 2 cards that add up to 13. Tap them both, and voila, they disappear. However, there is a slight catch. Think mahjong for a moment. The card must be free in order for you to select it. Loads of fun and a bit challenging as well.

TriPeaks

This game is ridiculously addictive! While it is not your typical solitaire layout or gameplay, it is a lot of fun and difficult to stop playing. The object here is to select cards that are 1 below or 1 above the card in the waste pile in order to clear the board.
